Hi everyone! Thanks for stopping by. I am Tim Martin ,”the saw man “ I’ve been playing this unique instrument since 2010 Believe it or not-the musical saw was a popular instrument in the earlier 1900s and almost disappeared after the vaudeville era . My goal is to share this lost musical art and promote others to learn how to play and make this instrument well-known again! There are thousands of people all around the world that play the “singing saw”, yet-it is almost unknown. I will be posting all genres of music played with a musical saw to show the beauty of its voice. As this site keeps growing I will be sharing tutorials on how to play a musical saw with simple techniques so that,you too can learn this incredible musical instrument.
